Senior Manager – UKI Risk, Accenture
Mark is a Senior Manager within Accenture’s UKI Risk practice specialising in financial crime prevention. He has over 15 years’ combined experience in Asset Management, Corporate Banking and the Insurance sectors having worked at Fidelity, MUFG Bank, Aon and Arthur J. Gallagher Insurance Brokers before moving into consultancy. At Aon, Mark was instrumental in enhancing their Anti-Bribery and Corruption controls and processes before then moving to Arthur J. Gallagher, where he headed up the then fledging Financial Crime Team, designing the structure for the team and designing and implementing the financial crime framework for the organization. Throughout his career, Mark has successfully led the delivery of several financial crime change programmes in the wake of FCA involvement, including overhauling financial crime frameworks and policies, implementing enhanced controls and due diligence programmes and designing and overseeing the delivery of new sanctions processes and controls.

Group Financial Crime Risk Director, Aviva
Peter joined Aviva in June 2017 and was appointed as Group Financial Crime Risk Director in April 2018, reporting to the Group Chief Risk Officer. He is an established leader in the Financial Crime Risk and Compliance field with over 30 years of industry experience, much of it in senior leadership positions in the financial services sector. His specialism is leading strategic financial crime risk transformation in complex multi-national financial institutions.
Peter was one of the three founding members of JP Morgan’s AML and Sanctions Compliance function in the mid 1990s. Over a nine year period, he rose through progressively senior Financial Crime Compliance positions at regional and global level in Hong Kong, Singapore and New York.
Peter was subsequently hired by South East Asia’s largest lender, DBS, to build out an integrated Financial Crime Compliance and Security Function over a five-year period as Managing Director and Head of Compliance Services.
Moving to London in 2010, Peter was hired by Standard Chartered to lead a Financial Crime Risk and Compliance transformation programme, leading to his appointment as Global Head of Financial Crime Risk Operations. He was subsequently hired by HSBC to lead a financial crime transformation as Global Head of Anti-Money Laundering Compliance.
Subsequent roles held by Peter include; Managing Director and Global Head of Anti-Financial Crime at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and interim Group Financial Crime Officer at Arab Banking Corporation, Bahrain.
Prior to banking, Peter was a Detective Senior Inspector in the Commercial Crime Bureau, Hong Kong Police. He holds an MBA (Distinction) from Hull University. Outside of work, Peter is a rescue diver and published underwater photographer.
Senior Manager – FinCrime, Lloyd’s of London
Chris leads the Sanctions Team at Lloyd’s to support the Lloyd’s Market through guidance and setting Policy. From the beginnings in a coffee shop in 1688, Lloyd’s has been a pioneer in insurance and has grown over 330 years to become the world’s leading market for specialist insurance. Chris has over 20 years of experience in the (Re)Insurance sector and was formerly the Compliance Officer for several Lloyd’s Managing Agents (insurers). Chris has a background in Underwriting, Claims, Risk Management and Financial Crime.
Director – Components of Growth, Accuity
Aneta Klosek is a senior professional in the field of financial crime prevention and international Anti Money Laundering regulations. With more than 15 years’ professional experience, Aneta has advised numerous clients from a variety of sectors on establishing effective compliance programs and consults how customers can maximize business opportunities through leading technology solutions and data. In her current role as Director of Components of Growth, Aneta is an integral part of compliance projects, for leading global Air Cargo companies such as Emirates and Lufthansa.

For the last three years, Kev has been responsible for a highly skilled team aligned to UK &I based clients from secotros including corporate, banking, insurance, legal, fintech and gaming. These clients work with Accuity in the areas of financial crime screening, payments validation & financial counterparty KYC. Prior to working at Accuity, Kev’s had 20+ years’ experience helping clients realise the operational benefits of enterprise software solutions, data analytics & AI.
Insurance Specialist, Accuity
Erica is ACII qualified and has over 16 years’ experience within the London Insurance market, working for large insurance companies as an underwriter, specialising in Financial Lines. More recently in her career, Erica worked as an insurance broker, placing cyber insurance programs for multinational clients.
