Gaming operators are becoming increasingly sophisticated in their approach to compliance and financial crime screening.
However, the global COVID-19 pandemic has brought specific and significant challenges to the sector. This webinar on Thursday, July 9, hosted by the Sports Betting Community, will touch on how the pandemic has changed the omnichannel model, how operators have kept their businesses running while sports and live events are on hold, and which changes may be permanent.
In addition, with most countries coming out of lockdown, we will address the possibilities of what gaming companies will face – including reduced or static budgets, no additional staffing, expansion into new markets, increased demand – and the risks these situations pose from a regulation perspective. The webinar will also explore how these companies can use technology safely, to ease the pressure on their compliance teams, while upholding their compliance and regulatory obligations.
Steve Armstrong, Group Director of AML at William Hill, and Manfred Galdes, Managing Partner at ARQ Group, will join Tom Holmes, Key Account Manager at Accuity, to provide a market overview, discuss sector-specific regulations, look at advanced filtering options for better AML and responsible gaming compliance, and explore the future of gaming in this new world. .
