Simon is Managing Director of the FS Regulatory Compliance Practice within Eversheds Consulting. Over the past 20 years, he has been advising financial services firms on regulatory matters specialising particularly in culture, governance, systems and controls, risk and control frameworks and conduct areas. Simon has experience of assisting firms with compliance and regulatory projects such as Senior Manager and Certification Regime, Skilled Person, past business and remediation reviews. He is on the FCA/PRA skilled person panel for governance and conduct of business.

Barbara is a chartered accountant and has over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Until early 2014, she was the CEO of Hardy Underwriting Group at Lloyd’s and has served on the Lloyd’s Market Association Board, was a member of the Council of Lloyd’s from 2007 to 2009, and is a current Court member of the Worshipful Company of Insurers (WCI). Currently, Barbara devotes time to talent management and diversity and inclusion through the Inclusion@Lloyd’s group, the Insurance Supper Club, and IWIN, the women’s forum she established under the auspices of the WCI. She is a business angel investor and a non-executive director for Domestic and General Insurance Limited, Lloyd’s broking group Ed. and the British Friendly Society Limited and is chairman of Age UK Enterprises Limited.
