Accuity are hosting a complementary Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Briefing on 17th October 2019.
This briefing will facilitate an open dialogue among the Banking & Financial Services (BFS) community in Pakistan to allow each participant to exchange ideas and challenges, with respective to current and future regulatory concerns. Muhammad Khalid heads the team responsible for responding on behalf of State Bank of Pakistan, which is Central Bank of Pakistan on Technical Compliance Questionnaire and Immediate Outcomes Assessment to APG Mutual Assessor Team for Pakistan. He was part of the team which had assessed Banking Sector in process of National Risk Assessment Pakistan (2016-2017). He has almost Eighteen Years of Experience as Central Bank Examiner at Banking Inspection Department State Bank of Pakistan. Khalid provides trainings outreach awareness in areas: Enterprise Risk Assessment Technology Risk, ML TF Risk Assessment and AML CFT to SBP’s Internal and External Stake Holders.

Heading Information Technology & System Audits in UBL with a strong international presence. Previously, worked with HBL as Audit Team Leader in IT & Management Audit Division. He Developed a comprehensive tool for auditing the reconciliation & migration of Customer and General Ledger Balances from Legacy to Net Symbols. Continuous support was provided to Project team in identifying the risk and suggested controls in this regard. Further, also advised the Management to establish Central Security & Administration function for smooth operations.

He is experienced in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning using BS 25999, and has rich exposure in designing and executing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity drills for various financial institutions.
